I want to participate in a Yoga Teacher Training or other Yoga Training but am unable to join the August 2023 YTT. Are there any other options?

Maybe! We are open to offering a Virtual or In-person Residential 200 Hour YTT in 2023 if there is enough interest. We are always happy to hear what you would like to learn and see if it is something that we can offer.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my attendance at a training, retreat, or immersion?

Cancellation Policy for Yoga Teacher Trainings

Due to the nature of these courses there is necessary preparation time and costs; therefore, we cannot provide refunds after a certain point. Please carefully read this cancellation policy before signing up for a course.

All deposits are nonrefundable* upon being accepted into a course. If an applicant is not accepted into a course, their deposit will be returned to them through the means by which they paid, minus any bank fees.
*Due to the unpredictable nature of our current world situation, if a student needs to cancel their participation or if a training is cancelled due to government restrictions, they will be allowed to transfer their deposit to another Sacred Heart Yoga training, retreat, workshop or other offering, to be used within two years of the initial training start date.
In advance of 30 days before the course start date, a student wishing to cancel their participation will receive a full refund minus the deposit. The deposit may be used towards another Sacred Heart Yoga training, retreat, workshop or other offering, to be used within two years of the initial training start date.
Between 14 and 30 days prior to the course start date, a student wishing to cancel their participation will receive a refund of 75% of the course payment. The remaining 25% can be put towards another Sacred Heart Yoga training, retreat, workshop, or other paid offering, to be used within two years of the initial training start date.
Between 1 and 14 days prior to the course start date, a student wishing to cancel their participation will receive a refund of 50% of the course payment. The remaining 50% can be put towards another Sacred Heart Yoga training, retreat, workshop, or other paid offering, to be used within two years of the initial training start date.
A participant wishing to withdraw from a course, or who is asked to withdraw by the faculty after the start date and up to one-quarter of the program length will receive a 25% refund, only.
A participant wishing to withdraw from a course, or who is asked to withdraw by the faculty after one-quarter of the program has passed will not receive a refund.

If you need to cancel your participation, please contact Sacred Heart Yoga as soon as possible.

Are Teacher Trainings and Immersions Yoga Alliance certified?

Yes!

Upon graduation from a Teacher Training, you will be RYT200 certified by Yoga Alliance, and you will be eligible to join Yoga Alliance as a member if you choose.

Graduates of an immersion will receive a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Certificate for the number of hours specified in the immersion information.

Are accommodations included in the cost of the trainings and retreats?

Residential YTTs include food and accommodations.

Non-residential trainings do not include food or accommodations. Participants are responsible for sourcing and buying all their own food and accommodations. There are some suggestions to help you find accommodations below.

Where can I find accommodations in Ubud?

If you wish to stay at the Yoga Barn Guest House, you can check date availability and book a room here.
Other options that are recommended by the Yoga Barn and are within walking distance can be found here.

There are countless hotels, hostels and homestays throughout Ubud and the surrounding area. Some people choose to arrive a few days before their program begins to visit different accommodations and find the place that best suits their needs and matches their energy. We encourage you to allow yourself at least one day before your program begins to settle into your Bali home.
